(OLNEY) Richland County authorities have apprehended wanted fugitive Nathan Ellison without incident yesterday at a home in Olney. This coming after the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and the Olney Police Department spent the past several days checking several different addresses in response to multiple tips from the public. While Ellison is now in custody pending transfer to the Illinois Department of Corrections, he will now face additional charges for escape. Additional follow up investigations have led to the arrest of Ellison’s girlfriend, Olivia Phipher, now charged with concealing or aiding a fugitive, a class 4 felony. A huge “thank you” to the public and both departments in the apprehension.
