(OLNEY/NEWTON) While we’re back to above normal temperatures today, a fast-moving weather system will move across Illinois by later tonight, bringing with it a slight chance of some scattered showers or light rain to our downstate area. Then a wind switch from the west/northwest will bring in some cooler air tomorrow, although we’ll have some sunshine. Warmer air and sunshine on Friday will be followed by a stronger cold front moving thru that night with some cooler air back in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
