(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a band of light rain and showers moves through our downstate area this morning in advance of a short-wave weather trough, we’ll eventually return to some sunshine today, but a gusty west wind will keep it about 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Then behind the trough, more clouds move in tonight and hang around tomorrow with yet cooler air moving in tomorrow. Combined with a gusty west/northwest wind, our wind chill values Thursday will be in the 20’s and low 30’s. Then a slight warming trend kicks in on Friday with yet more clouds. We’ll be back in the 50’s by Sunday. Stay tuned for updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
