(OLNEY) In High School Varsity Baseball yesterday –

  • Olney blanked Paris in five innings, 10-0

The Tigers outhit the visitors on Bill Millspaugh Field, 9 to 4

  • Winning pitcher – Rolen Wilson, striking out 4 in the 5 inning victory
  • At the plate – Ian Winkler tripled and doubled with 3 RBI and 1 run scored
    • Nolen Seals and Rolen Wilson each had 2 hits and 1 RBI
    • Colby Redman had an RBI double and Cooper Hires had an RBI hit

The (12-9/4-2) Tigers are scheduled to play at Marshall in LIC action today

  • Newton lost a tough home game to Edwards County, 2-0

The Eagles were outhit by the visiting Lions, 5 to 4

  • At the plate – Dylan Gier had a hit and a base on balls
    • Other hits by Drake Wolf, Dominic Baltzell, and Luke Farley

The (16-13/4-2) Eagles are scheduled to play Father McGivney today in Glen Carbon
